The installation attached to the facade of Rajatalo plays with sunlight, shadows and time – almost like a wing-shaped sundial. As the sunlight turns to the long side of the house, 13 dichroic discs cast their own colored shadow on the wall. As the day progresses, the shadows turn, shorten and change color. At the same time, the reflections from the material play happily in the yard of Rajatalo. The installation also changes depending on the viewing direction, the season and the weather.
Despite the conditions, every day the cycle starts over, new and fresh.
